Michael my friend.

Last night 21-11-2023 at 23.51 we lost a very special friend. Micheal Bedwell One of the most caring helpful polite gentleman who would never say a bad word about anyone. I am so proud to have known and called my friend.

We go back a long way when he hung out with my brother and friends must be 40+ years.  Hanging round the wimpy in harrow, the pie stand where st.Ann’s shopping centre is, coming into Debenhams (with my brother and others) where I worked on China and glass. Picking up stuff threatening to drop them and my department manager would come up to me and say Gwen please get them to leave (lol).

He has so many friends that like me and my family are going to miss him.

He belonged to the Royal British legion in South Harrow. He was so proud to have his name put on the wall as a life long member. Every year helping out when ever needed like selling poppy’s for Remembrance Sunday. He would go round with the mayor to read the Epitaph At the local memorials before remberance day. He’d call bingo and hoy on music afternoons.

Micheal also loved to get dressed up in his EDWARDIAN OUTFITS (with all the accessories) going out with long time friends to different rock and roll gigs.

Micheal’s knowledge on different subjects was unbelievable.
To me Harrow will never be the same without Michael Bedwell. Meeting up with him and other friends for coffee, or sometimes even a crafty pub lunch sometimes lasting most of the afternoon.

Micheal also had other friends like his lady friends as he called them, (they know who they are) they would meet up and go for a meal.  Like birthday New Year’s Eve, st Patrick’s day just to name but a few.

MICHEAL YOU HAVE GAINED YOUR ANGEL WINGS SO FLY HIGH DARLING.

ANYONE WHO NEW YOU WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.

REST IN PEACE MICHEAL. 😢😢💔💔💔 xxx
